Fitted Fest 2026 was easily one of the highlights of this year! I know I sad that last year was best one, but what is life without improvement and progress? This year Fitted Fest showed that they can bring even more suprises than we have seen before! The new builds, crowds and Conceptual Space blew my mind over when I saw it in real life! From August 15-16, 2026, I had the pleasure of attending Fitted Fest ’26 for the 4th time in a row at the stunning Lahti Harbour & Sibeliustalo Concert Hall in Finland - and again I can say that it was exceptional weekend!
Fitted Fest is well known at Baltci reagion and even further away as Northern Europe’s finest modern car culture show, bringing together over 250 meticulously curated show cars from across Finland and abroad.
A New Addition - Reflect | Conceptual Space
One of the biggest new additions to Fitted Fest this year was the "Reflect" Conceptual Space.
It gave the event a fresh new dimension and created another space for people to discover unique cars, builds and creative ideas. It also made the whole event feel bigger and more diverse than before, with something new to explore beyond the main show area.
For anyone who had attended Fitted Fest in previous years, the Concept Hall was definitely one of the noticeable changes for 2026 and I hope this will stay for next years.
Live Drawing at Fitted Fest
A big part of my weekend was the live drawing.
For the CoolCarDrawing Choice Award, I selected a beautiful 1969 Mercedes-Benz W108. The idea behind the award is simple - I choose one car at the event that personally stands out to me and create an original drawing for its owner right there on spot! It does not have to be the newest, loudest or most expensive car. For me, it is about character, presentation and the feeling a car gives you when you first see it and the W108 had exactly that!
Throughout the event, I worked on the drawing live at the Sibeliustalo Concert Hall. People could stop by, watch the progress and come back later to see how the artwork had developed and it gained a lot of interest! Main goal was to show people around how the car drawing process goes in real time. As this was first time I did this, I enjoyed it and instead of people only seeing the finished piece, they got to experience part of the process behind it.
CoolCarDrawing Choice Award
The CoolCarDrawing Choice Award is something I want to continue developing at future events.
There are already plenty of awards for stance, wheels, paint, performance and overall builds. I wanted to create something different. Instead of only receiving a trophy, the selected owner gets something personal - an original artwork inspired by their own car.
More Than Just an Exhibition!
Of course my stand as previous years also featured prints, posters, keychains, apparel and original artwork. But as every car event weekends like Fitted Fest are about much more than selling products for me! They are about meeting people who follow my work, hearing stories about their cars and seeing people connect with something I have created. Some visitors found keychains of their own cars. Others discovered posters of cars they had loved for years. And many simply stopped by to talk cars and watch the live drawing.
This year was also first time I brought with me huge screen, where attendees where able to see process of drawings and what goes behind the posters I make! As always I try to learn from my experience and listen to people what I need to add for next years and I appriciate it very much!
